Spiral nozzle (SPJT) is a kind of full cone or hollow cone nozzle, spray angle range is 60°-170°.Liquid flow rate range is 5.5-410 L/min. This compact nozzle has design of smooth flow chanels which can miniminze the block of liquid to make liquid reach max flow in given size pipe. Spiral nozzle can be installed or updated on most piping system. The available nozzle is NPT or BSPT (male) threaded type. Usually 1/4’’-2’’ nozzle can separately use brass, 316 stainless steel casting, teflon. Other material can be used if they are applied to special fields.

Spiral nozzles produce either a spiral full cone or hollow cone spray pattern, the spiral full cone pattern is developed from a series of concentric hollow cones which combine to give a full cone effect. The liquid is atomised into small droplets by a continuously descending spiral, therefore enters and exits with no internal restrictions through the nozzle. The result is a higher discharge velocity so low pumping pressures can be used to produce the required atomisation. What is spiral nozzle?
Spiral Nozzle is a kind of solid cone-shape or the hollow cone-shape atomization nozzle. Widely applies in the haze desulphurization, dust removal, exhaust gas processing, wastewater disposal, the fireproofing, fire fighting, spraying cleaning and other fields. These compact nozzles have smooth flow paths, which can minimize the liquid blocking, so that the liquid in the pipeline of a given size reaches the maximum flow.
What is the most unique feature of the spiral nozzle?
The big advantage of spiral nozzle is that it is clog resistant, allowing a wider range of fluids to be sprayed. As the fluid is broken up into the spray pattern after exit from the orifice, these nozzles have a very large free passage meaning gritty contaminants will easily move through the nozzle without causing blockages.
What are the advantages of spiral nozzle?
Spiral Nozzles (also known as Pig Tail Nozzles) produce a wider spray coverage than most other varieties of full cone spray nozzle, even when used with low water pressures. The droplets produced are also generally smaller than other full cone nozzles, which means that the spray angle is able to be maintained regardless of the water pressure, while these smaller droplets are also able to reach otherwise inaccessible areas.
